The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas Ruffin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Grandpa I miss you so much. I have been waking up everyday and going to bed every night thinking about you. I cry myself to sleep every night thinking I will hear your voice again, thinking that I will see you this summer to eat our crabs. (Your favorite food) It brings me so much pain to write this . I ask GOD to please give my family the strength. You were the backbone to our family. I miss your voice and words of wisdom. You were the best grandfather (father) anyone can ever ask for. You were and still are everything to us.We love you. -grandchildren
